Light problem

Light problem
Whats up guys and girls! I have a 99 XJ sport. The headlights and dash lights quit working. I put new headlights in and now I have headlights but the parking lights stopped working and I still have no dash lights. The brake lights work and turn signals. I replaced the headlight switch and still no parking lights. I have checked all the fuses and all seem ok. Any ideas on what to do next?

When electrical things get weird, check your grounds.
On the other hand, if it quit working suddenly, it's more likely a loose connection somewhere. I'd crawl up under that dash and start poking around.

at first the running lights worked but the headlights didn't. now the headlights work but not the running lights or dash lights. what ground do I need to check?
