Silverstars in the sealed beams, work great. Drilled the factory roof bar and run relatively inexpensive Blazers, plastic shelled and bolted with stainless fasteners, on third winter, no rusting, dual wiring feeds (12ga)up top from dual relays, no switching melt downs. I run a combination of amber fog lense and clear, gives me a broad spread and long pencil beam combination. Ya it's like driving into the sun coming at me so be considerate and switchem on and offwisely, primarily an offroad option.

I like the fact that the bar may protect the lights from low branches and not a bad price at all

i had roof lights but took them off cause i couldnt fit in any parking garages mainly, but they also lit up the hood so i took them off. even my a-pillar lights caused less glare..ill be putting the a-pillar lights back on but for roof lights, i took them out on trees all the time and the wiring would catch tree branches too

Yeah branches are definetly a problem. Infact, today while wheeling my cb antenna was ripped off by a large branch.
