Aright I know this is gonna go back and forth both ways yay and nay but I'm just asking for input from all, I've been considering building a light bar across the top of the windshield on the roof Id like to run four lights (recomendations on a good resonably priced light set is welcome) would I be better to mount it back by the basket with the tire or out to the front and would it be better to biuld my own bar and go to the gutters or will an extra roof rack bar be strong enough (and not look like @$$) also wiring suggestions ? I'm open to opinions let's see what ya got ???

 

I built mine about 5 yearsago using some sqaure tubeing from Home Depot and a little welding. I took it to a machine shop to have the holes drilled out so that they would be uniform I think I had about 50$ invested in it. You can see the photos in my album. I mounted it on the roof rack tracks.
