Default Light bar?

I seen a post where someone said they made a light bar out of angle. Has anyone done this? I'm getting two KCs and ain't got a roof rack and need advice on a HOMEMADE roof light bar! I got a bunch on alum. angle and wire.

I'm doing this so I can see going through fields at night. Headlights don't reach above the un-mowed field and I almost hit a cow one night.

The only light bar I have seen out of angle was done by Fitch and he used it on his Surco basket.

You can mount them on your cowl as well and they are much more stable there too. No tree branches gonna knock them off mounted there, and much more light than headlights too.

I've seen it done before. In fact there are brackets that someone sells for mounting them there, and they used KCs so not a very lightweight light either. I will search for them tomorrow b/c I have a couple things to do tonight and I'm already sleepy.

Cool..I'll do some searchin as well..I'd like some smaller lights as KC's are way to big but during hunting season they sure would come in handy..Eventually I will get a basket but gotta get other things done first..

Ok, I'm making a piece of angle as a light bar for now, but how I'm I suppose to run the wires to get them inside and out the weather?
