When I look at the dash lights on my Cherokee when I turn on the headlight switch, I notice the light above my headlight switch is switch is on. I also noticed the light above the transmission switch is on. Should I be concerned the light above the transmission switch is on. I noticed the light above the windshield washer switch is not on. Does the light above the transmission switch mean I need to check the fluid?

 

Do you mean the little yellow/orange light on this switch, or the "Trans" logo? And this is a right-hand drive eurojeep so ignore that everything is backwards.

 

It is the Trans Power Logo that is lit up. Is that just the way it is suppose to be when you turn on the headlights or is it some kind of warning light. Does yours turn on when you turn on the headlights? I did not realize the actual switch had a light. I do not recall if mine had the orange light on the switch.

Everything is fine. It lights up so you can see it at night.

 

That is what I thought. I was just freak'in out for a moment. Is the windsheild washer light suppose to light up too. Mine does not. Could it be bulb that is out?
