my 94 cherokee didnt come with a rear cargo light. installing one but cant figure out where the rear hatch/liftgate switch for it goes or is located. can anyone take a pic of theres or point me in the general idea of where this would be installed at? ive checked all round mine and cannot find it.

 

It's part of the latch mounted in the liftgate.

 

I don't believe mine has a switch for the rear hatch

 

IIRC, there were two latches. One with switch, one without.
