i got 6in lift on my 89 xj when i turn the wheel i get alot of body movement is right or wrong?

What shocks are you running? Did you put a new track bar on or is your axle kicked way out to the passenger side?

Lifting it that high with a stock track bar would pull the axle toward the drivers side.

i dont got a sway bar the trac bar has been droped

the bracket to the frame we lower it so stock trac bar would fit

did you also use a drop pitman arm? anytime you move you trac bar you need to move your steering accordingly. and vise versa

you should do away with that stock T-bar and get an aftermarket from Rustys offroad

your tracbar angle and draglink angle need to be as close to parallel as possible. im guessing they are not because of the body movement.

do not buy rustys trac bar!!!!!!! it will break off!!!!

buy re extreme duty!!



also by lowering your track bar on the body side, you just made your roll axis really low. the body will tend to want to roll more.

in reality you would want to move your trac bar up on the axle side, making your roll axis closer to the body.....less body roll.

i thought the sway bar controlled body roll. and the track bar kept the axle centered and stable under the truck itself. i could see you would have some bump steer because of the different track bar and drag link angles, but im sure the high lift, the large bouncy coils and no sway bar is whats causing your body to lean badly when you turn. or even wobble just driving down the road
