If I lift my 2000 XJ Sport 3" and put on 31" tires, how much will the gas mileage be hurt? And will a K&N Intake help it out any? I wanna know if the money is worth it. I know a lot of people use it because they look cool (Which they do
) But I wanna just to gain back those miles I'm losing from the tires. Or can I?

K&N is good for performance slightly. But it gains performance by letting dirt into your engine instead of filtering it. I wouldn't use one. I have 31s and they only have about 15 miles less out of a whole tank then I got from the stock tires

Champion or Autiolight can't remember but E3's have proven 9hp and if you don't drive like I normally do it helps your mpg's more then any thing else I have tried. I have run them in my 99 for over a year and my 95 for at least 2 or 3 when ever the first went on the market. WILL NEVER RUN ANOTHER PLUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
