i would personally say you need to regear it. it wont have much get up and go on the street.

I have a 90 xj with 33's and actually it has power, but your fuel mileage will go down the tube, and you will rub tires like a big dog.
I am going to 31's next, I have a 5 1/2 inch lift and it rubs bad in the back, I know I can trim but this rig is a dd.
Oh and one more thing around town power is fine but on the highway it will hunt.

im running 5.5 of lift and 33s trimed. Bump stops work awesome to keep from rubbing from up and down movement, but 33s are pretty big so some trimmimg could be needed for front to back clearence (wheelwell).

I still have stock 3.55 gears in mine. it has ok power but not enough for me. and it kicks down all the time. 4.10s with 33s are like 95% of stock and 4.56s are like 110%ish of stock in case you wanted to know.

here is a stock looking trim job
