i got the rc 6.5 and works great only thing that is better about re is it comes with break line extensions the rc just gives brackets to move your stock break lines which i dont like so im just going to get bigger lines
Hmm....
Doesnt sound like we have any hard core RE fans on here
. I was always under the impression that they were the standard when it came to Jeep lifts?
I've had Rustys before (4.5" w/ spring pack and adj track bar for $300) and it was fine, never had any issues. I would still consider but there shipping is rediculous.
It would be nice to find some additional info on the Zone kits. I dont mind trying something new, but am a little skepticle....

Myself and two other guys here at work all have the RC 4.5 lift. I bought mine direct from them, I got lucky and caught an end of the year sale. All three have been trouble free. I was really impressed by the kit and the lift went on with no trouble. No running back and forth to the parts store, everything was in there.
Depends. I checked on the 3" AAL kit and it was $80. I thought I would save some $$ and get some shocks locally but the shipping was still $78 for coils and AAL. Rediculous.
So total kit would have cost $345 w/ shipping.
I am not knocing the RC stuff as I have never ran it. I just havent really heard anything positive from any of the local shops that I have talked to. They dont say anything good about Rustys either. Only RE...
One guy did kinda recommend Zone Offroad in his own way. He said for the money it was okay. Recommended over all the other lower cost lift.
So, it looks like Zone Offroad is the way I will go. $290 for a lift including shocks and shipping aint bad. http://zoneoffroad.com/product?ki=34&vi=959
Someones got to give the new kid a shot, huh....
After researching more about RE, it looks like their lifts give too much lift (3.5 gives 4"'s plus). I did like the fact that their kit comes w/ LCA's and a few other goodies, but at that height I think the track bar and other components would need addressed.
Hopefully I dont regret it.......

I confirmed that there is no affiliation between rough country and zone offroad (read that somewhere else) as they are direct competitors. Zone Offroad is part of Truckmasters Distributing (BDS Suspension, Zone Offroad and 4x4 Posilock)
I will follow up when everything is installed (Kit will not arrive until after my weekend is over so wont be until the week after next).
