Anything over a 3 inch lift you have to change to a longer shock. If your wanting to install a 2 inch lift and have a 4.5 on it already, then I would say your more then likely have to go back to a shock that's around the same length as a stock one.

Doh! I see now what your wanting to do. My bad. LOL Well, some web sites I've seen for lift kits posted what length shocks go with certain size lifts. Wish I could remember which site it was. If I can find it again I'll get back to you. 6.5 lift right?

Ya know if you think about it, if you put a 2 inch lift or a 3 inch lift you would use the stock shocks right? So with what you have now and your adding 2 inches, why wouldn't you still use the same shocks as if you were putting on a 2 inch lift using stock shocks? Make sense? Maybe it's best to make sure because you don't want to lose shock travel while wheeling ya know?
