Default lift questions

first off i used the search button first.
I have a 90 with dana 30 and 35. i have a three inch zone lift sitting in the garage, but my leafs are sagging bad. i also have a set of 4 inch leafs. my question is can i get away with out a sye, or lca if i use the 4" leafs and a 1" spacer with the 3"zone coils. i found one good stock leaf at pull-a-part, but can't find another. i would rather just use the full 3" kit right now, but really need to do something fast.

You could get away without an SYE at 4 inches but you still may get some vibes. If thats the case and you do get vibes do a transfer case drop by either buying a 1" drop kit or home making a few spacers for the Tcase.

What year is your XJ? Anything before '97 is usually ok up to about 4" of lift. '97-'01 are more prone to vibes from about 3" on up.

so i started cleanin up yhe leafs and found the part number. i found 463 and what appears to be a 1 in front of those. i was told they were superlift springs so i went to there site to try and match everything up, and no match. so i started checking out other companies and the only one with even just the 463 in the part number of any of their xj springs was rubicon express.http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Jeep/XJ/Product.aspx?folder=XJSp∂=RE1463 i think i have these.
