I have a 87 xj with a 2inch lift. New coils with add a leaf rears. I would like to know if I get another 2 inch lift with spacers in front and add a leaf in rear if it would work. Might be a dumb question but would like to hear some thoughts. Thanks guys!

 

Adding the spacers to the front will work just fine. As for the rear I really don't like adding more than one of the short "add-a-leaf" to the pack, some kits have a full length "add-a-leaf" that would work. If you check eBay depending on your budget you can find 4" to 4.5" rear spring packs for around $250 or so.

Also once you make the mods, you will wanna check that your shocks will still have enough travel, check brake line length (especially the rear), and also and changes that may be made in the steering.
