Default Lift question??

Hi guys new to the forum...... my buddy has a 2001 xj completely stock, and he is the market for a suspension lift. 3 inches. Hes in between a skyjacker or the Rubicon Express 3in. Which one do you guys think is better suited. It will be a daily driver as well as a weekend trail rig. Or if you know of a better option let me know thanks... not sure if this is the right section but sorry if its not.

Is there a reason he is leaning toward Skyjacker or RE? The Rough Country 3" lift for the XJ is about the best deal out there. Good quality, complete kit and lowest price.

If he is only worried about color he could always go with a less expensive lift and then break out the rattle can in his choice of colors. i am running Rustys and have no complaints so far.

I would personally go with the RE, however I hear it will give more lift than advertised, around 4-4.5". Thats why I didnt go with them, plus they are a little more money and dont come with shocks.

There are many 3" lifts out there, I went with Zone Offroad and am very pleased with the results. Havent wheeled it, but seems very quality and rides great on the road. Best part was the price $290 shipped.

I have the RE 3.5 superflex and am very happy with it.

It is my dd. Like most other people say, the RE kits tend to give more than advertised lift. Mine has been on for about 4-5 months and I have right at 4.5" of lift.
