Default Lift kits Jeep xj 2000

Hi, I own a jeep cherokee since 2 years and I really like that thing. Bought from someone who took great care of it. As i'm writing this it doesn't even have 50k miles on it...
My goal is to give the jeep his original height, maybe a bit more, while keeping stock tires and rims... 1.5'' or 2'' ? Rubicon express, rough country? I don't know...if you have suggestions please write

Thumbs up from Montreal
Vince

If I was going that route I’d look into an OME lift they’re great quality and geared towards smaller lifts . There is a thread with a lot of great info all about lift questions ! Search and you’ll find it .

Your talking an upcountry lift. You can get the crown or dorman hd springs and they give about 1.5 inches. New coil springs with a small spacer or the rustys 2 inch coil lift can be used for the front.

I know its a little higher than you're looking for but I got a good deal on the Zone 3" with the full leaf packs. Fairly cheap and it flexes pretty well.

what ever you decide, make sure you get new leaf packs for the rear. Don't use an add-a-leaf.

Thanks for the replies, it's appreciated...OME seems like the top of the line but sadly i'm not rich enough. Pretty sure 3'' is too much for stock wheels and yup add-a-leaf is a big no. Crown, Dorman or Rusty's seems to be the best option...but being in canada, the shipping fees are ridiculous. By curiosity how much would you guys pay for that kind of lift kits in the US?
At a local shop near my place they were asking around 250CAD for ONE leaf spring (that's just under 200US) no bushings or nothing...some times I wish I was living in the states!

IMO cheapest, best option for 2-2.5" -buy almost new Jk/JKU shocks off of Ebay or craigslist. Should be around $50 for all 4.

amazon - front coils -either Moog cc782 for 1" plus coil spacer or Moog cc784 for 2.25" - about $70

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

amazon - either the dorman or crown leafs- I believe these are the correct leafs for upcountry models. 1" lift

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

then use a 1.5" shackle or a shackle relocation bracket (more expensive than shackle)

Amazon Amazon

should be around $400 total here is the U.S. - not sure the cost is Canada
