Unhappy Lift Kit & Suspension is hard

I just purchased an 89 jeep Cherokee limited. it has a 2.5" lift but the suspension is hard as rock. i feel every little bump. How do i fix this, jut get new springs? I don't know a lot about the suspension.

get new shocks, possibly get a long arm upgrade(expensive though). Apart from that, I have to say GET USED TO IT lol, its a jeep and it will never ride smooth......ever

how new is the lift? and who makes it? I agree new shocks it could possibly be the skyjacker kit.... and skyjacker makes all of their technology for full size trucks and suv's.... So when they put that technology in a little suv it is not a good combo.... Also if it is new-ish it might just need a bit of breaking in....

just change shocks and see what happens. It may not ride like a caddy but it can ride a bit softer than feeling every bump. I enjoy driving mine=]

I put Monroe shocks on my XJ and it was bi change compaired o the Skyjackers food for thought

lower your tire pressure which is probably too high.

might be a superlift lift,all their stuff is more truck friendly

I just put 4 NIB Skyjacker Nitro shockes on my 94 and it made a heck of a difference...Tj
