I'm doing my first lift and xj project ever and would like some recommendations on what brand lift I should go with I heard rough country is junk and rides rough I will be doing a 3 inch lift and will mostly be driving on roads rarely off. And off roads will only be in a field no rock crawling haha. I want it to have a decent and comfy ride not bumpy asf haha dont wanna spend a ton either.

 

Zone suspension, or Trailmaster.

 

I think you have 10 posts with the same question. I've had many Zone lifts and never had a problem with them.

 

each question was a little different and trying to get a wide majority of opinions but you've been alot of help thanks I decided on zone and then some new control arms cant find a zone kit with the arms included for a 3 inch

 

Only their 4.5" lift comes with them.You're smart to get opinions. The problem is that everyone has a different one. Just like with how shocks ride or how tires are off road. A 3" lift doesn't need new control arms, but I got some nice fixed longer arm ones on Amazon for around $80. PM me if you want a link to them. I understand doing your first lift and not wanting to throw away money or buy crap parts that you'll need to replace. I did that on my first 3 Jeeps. Shocks are #1 for ride quality. Cheap rear leaf springs and too much tire pressure are next.
