i would recomend going with the full leaf pack not the add a leaf. when you do an add a leaf you will get a lot harsher ride than a full pack. and a full pack will last alot longer than a aal.

The add a leaf kit is one leaf that you add to your current springs. The rear leaf pack is brand new leaf springs for the rear. This is preferred over AAL because the condition of your current stock leaf springs plays a role in height you actually get and also how long the AAL will hold up. If you have old and tired rear leaf springs, avoid AAL if you can.

Rusty's (www.rustysoffroad.com) has an XJ 3" add-a-leaf kit for $265. That's what I put on 5 years ago with Rusty's shocks and I've been happy with it...well I wish I did the 4.5", but it's been fine for a 90% DD vehicle. The 3" kit with the full rear spring pack is only $438 so it's still cheap too.
