ok a guy at my work has a grand cherokee and put ford ranger front springs in it and put the stock front springs in the back and he got a little over three out of this set up. now my ? will that work on my xj. i need new packs for the back so im gonna order 3" packs. but will ranger springs work in the front .?????? anybody done this?

I dont know about ranger springs but I know f-150 springs only give you about 2 inches on an xj and when I was at the jy measuring springs the ranger springs were the same length as the f-150 but not as heavy. Unless he got them from the older style full size ranger in wich case im not sure.

They will work, not sure how much lift it will give you though. and f150 springs give you 3" but they are very stiff for a cherokee, and you need the ones out of a 73-79 f150
