Default Which lift for 00 Cherokee?

I will be lifting my 00 Jeep Cherokee in may and was wondering which of the more affordable lifts I should get. I have been looking at Rough Country and Rustys 4.5 kits. I was going to just save my money and get the Rubicon express 4.5 because I had a RE 3.5 on my last cherokee and loved it. But I have newer priorities and cant spend that much since RE raised all their damn prices. So of all the 4.5 kits what has everyone had the best luck with??? Thanks alot!

I've heard the Rusty's isn't all too bad. Rough Country is....well..what you pay for. It does what it's supposed to do. Lifts. But lacks in ride comfort and steering capability. I got it on my jeep and I don't complain, I'd say its good for the price.

Go with the rough country system over that one, they are very similar kits (basic joints/AAL) but the RC kit is less expensive.

That is the exact reason I don't recommend rustys, by the time your done with shipping you may aswell had gone with a RE kit.

sure, zone offroad may include u-bolts, but i don't see anything in terms of a trackbar or even a trackbar reloaction bracket. stay away

they preach about their coil springs and how they are so nice and whatnot, truth is most any spring will perform the same.

add-a-leaf=fail

no upper control arms

and stiff poly bushings

i have a 4.5 from rusty great flex for short arm, and he is awesome to deal with. But shipping is kinda pricy and i dont see why either. I priced it out at work to send exactly what he sent me back to him on UPS and it was almost half the price.

I'm pretty happy with my BDS kit, I have a WJ, not an XJ, but I'm sure the XJ kit is pretty good as well. My Chevy friend also has A BDS lift on his Silverado, and he's pretty happy with it, so I'd definitely recommend them...

Later.
