Left hand parking/driving lights don't work!
I have a 2000 XJ Sport, 4.0 auto trans. The left side front and rear parking lights just went out and stopped working about a month ago. I finally found some time to do some troubleshooting and box swapping. I checked the relay box just behind the front left headlight, and all the slots have continuity. I checked all of the bulb sockets and they all have continuity. I have swapped out the headlight switch as well as the turn signal/multi-switch and still nothing . The brakes, hazards, and turn signals all still work, it's only the parking/driving lights that don't work on the left side. What's my next step? Is there a relay box I am missing? Another switch I can test? Or just need to start chasing wires? What kills me is that all the bulb sockets have continuity so I don't know where to even start testing, any and all advice is well appreciated.

This may sound stupid, but have you checked the fuse inside the passenger side kick panel? When I bought my XJ, I had the exact same issue. I got my electrical toolkit out fully expecting to have to chase a bad ground for hours. Before starting I took a quick look inside the fuse panel, lo and behold! I replaced the fuse and they worked like brand new.

Yes I did check the bulbs, and the bulbs work since the blinkers and hazards work. I also swapped bulbs around within different spots on the vehicle as well as another XJ just in case, but no change. I was unaware of a fuze panel on the passenger side kick panel, I will check those tonight. I did check the fuzes right behind the battery under the hood and they were all good.

JL911 that was it. The fuse had come loose and fell out, put it back in and problem solved. Thank you so much, I have been chasing wires for a month and didn't even think about that fuse box.

I had the exact same problem, I tracked it to the fuses, replaced them. Replaced the headlight switch. Eventually I found that a single wire going into the wire block that connects to the headlight switch was loose. After fixing that I never had another issue. It's a yellow and brown wire on the bottom toward the center.
