Left blinder activates rear flashers!

Left blinker activates rear flashers!

I have a 2001 Cherokee Sport and when I turn on the left turn signal the rear flashers come on. What would cause this and how can I fix it? Please help.

Sounds like the trailer wiring is incorrect or maybe a short. Check behind the trim at the driver's rear of your Jeep as this is usually where the wiring is run, usually where a taillight converter could be hidden.
