Yep, renting a storage shed would be a bad idea......wouldn't even dream of storing something valuable indoors, out of the weather, locked up, out of sight from thieves, etc., etc. Those pesky rodents r a game changer everytime.

Check these pics out.

Blower Resistor Block packed full of crap.

94 XJ blower chamber full of what looks like padding from under the carpeting.

Note the chewed up fan. Wonder if that damage was from hitting rat bones. ;-)

When I went to basic and ait for the army, I was gone 6 months and I had just put it on my parents driveway. Theres normally mice among other things, I left in June, and came back early December. They live in an old cornfield. I left with a quarter tank of gas and the battery still hooked up. Came back and she fired right up. That was leaving the battery connected and no fuel stabilizer, but I tend to use non ethanol fuel. If that matters.

Only thing I had in my Jeep was a dead wasp nest in the passenger side door jamb.

Same here.
When I bought my '96, and got it home, I found a small one in the passenger side door jamb.

I don't disagree with you. Indoors would be better than in the woods. I thought we were specifically talking about the rodents, though.

Even tho it's harder to remember when I was young, were I to have "found" something covered up in the woods, it would have been game on.
A person wouldn't have to be very young to get a destructive urge.

Presume your house/property will be vacant? No friends/neighbor/family you could park it at?
