Leaky rear main seal

Moneys tight, whats the best engine main seal stop leak? I have a 1986 Wagoneer Limited 2.8L V6.

Sorry but you shouldn't waste money on that stuff. Replacement is your best option here.

It's easy to be fooled. The oil filter mount business can look like the RM leaking as well as others. I bought the gasket and the (two piece seal) for around $30, then returned it because it turned out it was blowing out because of crank-case PRESSURE. My pcv tube was completely clogged and the crankcase could not vent right (also). FYI, if you where to do it you would also need an oil pump gasket, maybe. .....D.

Whoops! Different engine...still, make sure it can vent....
