So I have a really bad leak coming from the trans at the inspection plate/ front seal and I need to know what to look for or expect because this has to be fixed.
I am hoping to pull the trans friday after work, get started really, I have read about checking the TC for grooves and what and I have the aw4 pdf but does anyone have pictures of an aw4 dis assembly?

 

A junk yard aw4 is also an option and hints on what to look for if I go that route, like what years will fit?
for the cell users its a '89 with np242 t-case
