Default Leaking Coolant Issue

Last Decemeber I replaced my water pump after I was no longer getting heat and my 2004 Jeep grand cherokee overheated. I had not ever replaced a water pump so I printed out instructions and followed them exactly. It seemed to work.

Then a couple months later I was leaking coolant and had to fill her up again. That coolant lasted a few more weeks. I took the water pump back off and noticed that the gasket I had used was destroyed...

So I scraped it off and used some red RTV silicone to make my own gasket. Two months later I was running out of coolant again.

I again sealed my water pump a couple weeks ago. This time I bought some RTV Silicone designed for water pumps, thinking that I had just used the wrong stuff. A week later, my temp gauge was bouncing in and out of the danger zone and I was forced to stop at a shady gas station in the bad part of Chicago.

I read on the water gasket RTV (after I had applied it) that I was suppose to let it sit for 24 hours. I let it sit for maybe 3, because I had to go to work. I figured that this had to be the problem with my last attempt.

I decided to do it right this time, so I bought extra water gasket RTV and I plan to use a layer of it, followed by a brand new gasket, covered with more silicone.

Before starting just now I decided to take a peak to make sure that it was indeed my water pump leaking. There is a large amount of dried coolant around the pump, but I noticed that there is a significant amount on my radiator as well. I have included some pictures. Im no expert, so I'm wondering if I could have a leak in my radiator. Or is the coolant just spraying to that location from the water pump?

Maybe powerwash some of the crud off first. Should make it easier to find.

Just turn it on, run it a bit. Then pop the hood and look for leaking.
