Default leaking antifreeze

I thought that i was losing antifreeze somewhere. When i came out his morning i found a nice size puddle of antifreeze under the front of the truck. I had no time to do a thorough evaluation, i just made sure i still had plenty in the resevoir and brought my jug of antifreeze with me. From a quick look it seems as if it is leaking from the passenger bottom corner of the rad. Are there any common problems with leaks here? Im hoping that it is a hose of some sort and i dont have to replace the rad. Unfortunately it seems to me that the rad is possibly cracked somewhere. I will do a thorough check tonight and post. any input or experience is appreciated.

Its probably leaking where the plastic side tank is joined with the Al body of the rad, its pretty common for it to leak there

I agree with the above, as soon as it gets colder out this starts happening a lot. The seams connecting the side tank to the fins start to get pinhole leaks in them.

Stop leak won't work and is a bad idea.

You need a new radiator. You can find decent ones for about $145. I got mine from performance radiator.

I'd defiantly say it could be your radiator, but before you go out and get a new on make sure it isn't your upper hose. I've seen them leak out of the bottom of where the hose connects to the radiator and it looks like its the tank leaking. If you can, put a pressure tester on it to make sure.

Don't assume anything. Fluid can "migrate" making leaks difficult to isolate.

Radiator is a good possibility as mentioned, but so is a hose and don't forget to check the water pump. If you have a water pump leak and still have that factory slop shield on it, the fluid can run to one side and drip off.

Get a good light, get some dirty clothes on and find that leak.
