so i just bought a 1985 XJ with a 2.8v6 (the bastard motor) w/ a 3 speed auto... well its leaking oil over the exhaust and smoking pretty good... im thinkin its a rear main seal... are there any major issues with this setup i should be looking at? and would it be easy enough to just drop the tranny and transfer case and get to the back of the motor that way?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
