I have a '98 XJ with a 3" Skyjacker Lift. I want to buy new leaf springs. Any suggestions on manufacturers? I have looked at Rusty's, and also Teraflex. Rusty's is a bit cheaper. Also, what options do I have from a leaf spring/ shackle standpoint?
Sort of learning the ropes here. As always, any help is appreciated!

whats your budget? im looking for a pack of leafs for a 3" lift, i saw some procomp 3.5" ones on ebay last week, idk if they're still there or not, ive been lookin at rustys a lot too. they have cheaper prices but i hear their shipping is ridiculous. if i were you i would just buy a new leaf pack, thats what im doing, only becuase my jeep is all stock still and really needs new leafs. but depending on your budget you could maybe make bastard packs? thats a pretty popular alt.

sorry i didnt get this all in one post, just being dumb, at work, whatever. theres a lot of other threads about leafs, from what ive read/been told, stay away from blocks and aals, they just sag within a year. im planning on getting a decent set specifically made for the cherokee with the lift built into them, and ill probably end up getting it in a total kit, just because i dont have anything else yet. rustys, rough country, RE all have the kits with new leaf packs, not sure if they sell them by themselves. again you could go with bastard packs, theres also a bunch of threads about those if you not sure about them.

strikechords, thanks for the info. I agree, and I think add a leafs are part of my problem now. I have checked into Rusty's, but I've heard mixed reviews...
Big-o, thanks for the information as well. I will check some junk yards and check into your idea...

springs dont make the ride... shocks and tire pressure does.. unless youre running a ****ty short AAL. RE and RK leafs are pretty good quality.. theyre the top of the "consumer" or "normal" use packs.

Probably the latter... pretty bad aal. I think it was part of the lift kit. Shocks are new, tires are BFG m/t's and I keep them at the suggested psi.
Your suggesting RE (Rubicon Express) and RK?? What is RK?
