Leaf Spring Pain
Ladies and Gents
I was gonna repack my rear leaves and would love to paint them first. I cant imagne any old paint would hold up. Anyone have any suggestions??
I want to replace the little plastic discs that are at the ends of the leaves as well. I asked the guy at autozone the other day and he looked at me like I was friggin nuts. any ideas where I would find some new ones?

Its all in the prep work. Use a good etching primer before painting and spray with duplicolor or plastikote rattle can.
Tell the guy at Autozone he's an idiot. They are called front and rear leaf spring bushings and are available in the after market from lots of companies. Look at MOOG or Energy Suspension poly bushings. You can get them online or Advance sells MOOG.

The implement paint at tractor supply works great on all that stuff. gloss , flat, all colors. gloss is actually glossy when it dries. Rattle can or by the gallon

I would assume the implement paint would work well on things like BPE's, and random other parts??
I feel like I am always sanding and repainting random parts, brackets, etc.
