Default Leaf Spring Bolt

The forward leaf spring bolt on the pass side is spinning in the bushing when I turn the bolt. I do not think it is out all the way or else I would just cut it with a sawzall. Any ideas.

Beat it thru. From where?
This is a front bolt the OP is referring to.
Did you mention if they beat it thru they would need to drill a hole in the unibody rail?
And that beating it thru, you take a very big chance of messing up the threads in the welded nut.
And by doing that, they will have to rethread the nut AND get a new bolt.

A little more than bash the **** out of it with a BFH.

I think we fail to remember that many of these questions are being asked by folks trying this stuff for the first time.
A simple and helpful reply that puts things into perspective is called for not just a 3-4 word reply.
