Exclamation Late model XJ wiper fluid reservoir relocation

I have been searching the web and cannot find a good write up or any recommendations regarding relocating the windshield wiper fluid reservoir from under the fender to under the hood on a late model XJ.

I need to move the reservoir to be able to trim my fenders a little bit higher. I already looked into using an early model XJ reservoir and it appears that the brake cylinder is larger on mine hence why Jeep relocated the reservoir where it is now. I was hoping someone has had experience in this and could recommend a reservoir to use and how/where to locate it under the hood. Or maybe someone could post a link to a good write up on the net showing this done.

Thanks for your help!

I did? JK

what did was take out my airbox and used a cone filter set up, took out the reservoir tank and put it where the airbox was. i didnt strap it down or tie it down, and it stays there just fine.

Thanks Seth,

Can you post a few pics up of this. I was also thinking the same with a cone filter to create more room.
