When I hit a bump and the rear is rebounding, I'm hearing a knock - I've checked everything - shocks seem to be in place. Am having SYE and new drive shaft put in tomorrow. I don't know if that will correct or if there is something else causing this?

 

are your ubolts torqued to spec? myne has a similar knock and that is the problem.

otherwise check for your leafs hitting on the exaust.

I'll check the bolts,It's not the exhaust, I have already checked that out.

well you were right, it was the u-bolts.

no problem, they like to come loose so check them every couple of months and after you wheel.
