ok went out jeeping this wknd in a pretty rough trail up in my buddy ranch made it no prob nothin broke haha
but mid way up the trail started feeling knocking on my front end like a popping when your accelling more and more sounds and feels like coming from driver side of front end.. still on flat land acceling will start to do this...
for trail took trac bar quick disconnect off! so im assuming my alignment is off now again cuz i get wheel wobble at bout 45 pretty good!! so taken in for alignment this week...
has anyone ever had the knocking like i am describing.. i already inspected the front drive line no rubbing or gashes from binding or anything like that???
hmmm ????

Trac bar disconnnect???????
do you mean sway bar dissconnect you are never supposed to discconect your trac bar that will allow the axle to move alot under the body and can cause alot of damage to the suspesion and front driveshaft u joint.
If you did have it dissconnect i would check for damage front driveshaft ujoints now.
Remove the front drive shaft and then take it for a drive again to see if the noise is gone and also get it aligned soon

I responded to one other thread that sounded similar to your problem. Myself and another person had similar problems and it ended up being in the t-case... just a thought to look at.

I had a similar noise and it turned out to be the T-case chain. Does it do it more (rapping sound) if you put it low?...Tj

ya the sway bar man..not trac bar my bad... and so the transfer case?? well i almost sure it needs alignment so ill do that! then go from there and its like a almost popping noise and you can feel it pretty good im guessing a u joint thats what im hoping rather then the t case
Yeah my u joints are bad on mine and they make a kind of popping noise i will probally replace them this weekend there not that bad to do and it always nice to have a extra set for the trail.
