Default Knock when going over big bumps?

I have a knock in the tranny hump that I can feel in my feet when I go over big bumps . Thats the only time it does it. Could it be a tranny mount? My exhaust hanger by the cat is broken, could it be that? Any ideas. Im goin on my 1st real offroad weekend trip and need to figure this out quick . Its this coming weekend.

Thats what Im thinking but the one thats broke is by the cat. Wouldnt the manifold hold it ? Not sure. But then if it would then why would they put 1 there? IDK?

The pipe sits fairly close to the trans crossmember and as such can and will bump into it with enough of a bump. Get it fixed or you risk cracking your manifold-Read big buck repair.

could be a number of things, loose shock nut, broken bar pin, crapped out control arm bushing, motor mount, tranny mount, transfer case shifter linkage bracket, exhaust as mentioned, empty beer bottle under the back seat....

I replaced the motor in July and put brand new motor mounts in. It better not be those.

Ok , I found the problem. The head pipe is hitting on the cross member and transfer case cuz the hanger broke. New poblem, I cant find a hanger that will work , anywhere. Checked all local parts stores. Its a welded hanger. Proly have top get it rewelded. Thanks again.

Take it to the muffler shop and they will re-weld it for you and it will be cheaper than you might expect.
