My feeling on the bolts is that everyone should just do it as a maintenance item.

So I finally was able to check the flex plate bolts, all were tight and no visible crack, one 18 mm bolt that holds the cover on was loose, pita to get the cover back on! Started her up and no more knock until she got warm, and there it is, doesn't seem as loud but it's still there, my friend suggested to try mobile one oil being the knock only started after I did 2 oil changes with the rotella, could this be the problem? Maybe a thicker oil?

I tried out some 10w-30 Synblend at my last oil change, and that exact noise that you have returned. I had not heard it in a long time... Not at all while I was using Mobil 1 TDT 5w-40. After I use up my other 6 qts of Kendall I will be switching back.
What type Rotella? T or T5? What viscosity? The Rotella dino oil (T) and the 4.0 go together like peas & carrots. The 4.0 is very old technology built with sloppy tolerances due to its antiquated assembly line....not a good match for synthetic IMO.
