Thats a pretty sick idea, im going to start packing some.. along with a cooler full of ice cold beverages..very nice! What else do you guys use to get yourself un-stuck, other than a winch of course?

i carry a jug of quick clean. basically like kitty litter. but not to get unstuck, it's to clean up any oil spills if something happens on the trail.
i've had to use it for oil cause the filter got punched and the pressure blew a hole in it.
also, for diff fluid, cause i blew a couple axle shaft u-joints and had to repair them on the trail.
also for gas, cause i caught my exhaust on a rock climb turning it into an accordion, while stuffing it into my sending unit, ripping my fuel lines and cracking the sending line. also made a huge dent in the rear hatch floor.
good thing to have, for sure. you should see what all i carry in my kit....

Caged I found a tread about what you should carry on the trail, but you should start one with "what do you carry on the trail" That may give some of us some good ideas, like the kitty litter uses.
By the way, I have a 50lb sand bag in the back for weight and if I get stuck I would sprinkle it down for traction, but that hasn't happened yet. Knock on wood.

I carry mud tires and lockers. Who needs kitty litter?
Back when I lived with my parents, my dad would try ANYTHING to get some extra traction going up his steep 1/4 mile driveway. It would be impossible to make it to the house when it snows so they park at the bottom near the mailbox. he tried ashes, HOT ashes, sand, litter, stones, pebbles, etc and nothing ever got him to the top. I installed mud tires and lockers on my jeep and made it up on the first try while he still got stuck at the bottom. It became the norm to be woken at 12am (school night) to go outside and winch up dad or sis when they TRIED to get home.
