Coat hanger did the trick for me, don't bother trying to unlock it from the inside lock. Make a hook on the end of the hanger and jam it in the door between the glass and find the connecting rod to the lock and pull up. It's much easier to slim jim it with a hanger than try to get to the damn unlock button.
Late model. No wing window.

My latch is broke off of my wing window so I just open it and unlock the door.

Granted, I never lock the door since it's so easy to break into anyway.

Then my trail Jeep... it has no roof sooo... it's not difficult to break in either.

Lowrange edited his post to include the information I was posting. My post was no longer needed and you can't delete them on this site.

Every time my keys have been locked inside, either I have been able to go in through the wing window (which you don't have) or the rear hatch has not been locked.

when i locked my keys in once, i was pissed but then soon remembered that one of my doors doesnt lock so i just opened it and got my keys. i would suggest the coat hanger trick or just call the non emergeny number for the police or fire department. they send someone out and will open it at no cost. i have done that before and the fire department will also open a door to your house for free (you have to prove your residence there first)

Your state may be different but emergency services stopped offering that assistance here since it's not an emergency... They'll gladly give you the number to the closest locksmith.

unless theyre using an axe or the jaws of life to open those doors, that just sounds WAY too good to be true lol

all fire departments and cop cars should have a set of slim jim tools in the vehicles being used. i know around me they do and if you lock your keys in your car they come by and will unlock it but you have to show proof that its your car. as for opening a house door, fire departments have door spreaders, you put it in the door frame and crank on it and it spreads the door fram just enough to open the locked door(disclaimer it can damage your door frame). my dad was a firefighter for years and he has done it all the time for people.

all dealerships can make a key for you
all you need is a pinkslip or proof of owner ship
and your vin number and voila theres a key!

15-20$
but its got jeep etched into it! lol so its totally worth it!

well if you take the bottom trim out from the driver or passenger window you can slide your hand down the glass while prying on the metal with your hand and then just flip the lock... I can do it in like 20 seconds lol

Yes, 10 years ago they used to do this...

Now, it is not longer available because the police department and fire department have better things to do than keep up with your keys.

You must be in a small town with 2 police officers.
