Default Keep having to rebleed brakes?

Hey guys I've been having brake trouble. New pads and drums on the back and wheel cylinders. Bled them and my brakes were great for a couple of days then they got all squishy again. So I bled them again and same thing. Just gets squishy. It's worse now that I have bigger tires so I should probably address this. Thanks!

Sounds like you have a leak. You replaced all of the rear stuff but look for fresh fluid in the back. Check the rear lines. May have knocked something loose.
Didn't find anything? Move to the front & look around. Check from the start of the system down to the calipers.
Don't forget to get a flash light & check the lines that run along the rails.

Ya no leaks in the rear drum. And calipers seem good. Ill look at the lines.

No not really, check all of the lines, make sure it's not leaking somewhere. Should be pretty obvious, it'll be all wet where ever it's leaking from.

The master cylinder could be leaking, too... check where the MC bolts onto the brake booster. If it's wet around there, get a new MC.

It's not leaking anywhere. I wasn't thinking earlier, I haven't had to refill the fluid at all. Except when I bleed them.

Are the rear brakes adjusted all the way up?

Yeah. New shoes and everything. They only account for like 30% of braking anyways so it'd be hard to believe that's the problem. But ya they are adjusted

The major cause of a low pedal is drum brakes that are not adjusted correctly.

If you are not losing fluid, you don't have an external leak.

What's the status with the master cylinder? Replaced it, bench bled it? Were you having the same problem before replacing pads, shoes, wheel cylinders?

I disagree haha. Thanks though. They are good, If I adjust them anymore they will be making contact all the time.

Well not too bad. But ya they were pretty squishy and I have never messed with the brake booster

Did the MC happen to run dry while you were bleeding?

You have a seal corrupted. If you have to bleed one wheel more than the others, start looking there. If all four wheels are roughly equal, you're probably losing a master cylinder seal.
