I'm kinda a rookie at this stuff, but i just wired in fog lights. All you need is power and ground. I ran the power wire from the lights on my bumper up througha whole by my airbox, then through the firewall (right where the hood release cable goes). All you need to do is wire in an in-line fuse and a spade at the end. Plug the spade into a spot in the fuse block that says "acc." They will only come on when the key is on. Or you can run the wire to a switch and then to the fuse block. For the ground connect all the wires from the lights to one wire and connect an eyelet. Find a spot on the frame or bumper (something metal) where you can secure the eyelet to. Hope that helps....

Does anyone know laws on headlights? I got pulled over for having my headlights and a set I installed on at the same time. I need the other pair cuz my regulars aren't bright enough and my highs are too high. I put these on as an inexpensive fix but I got a warning and the cop couldn't "shed some light" on my problem

Sounds like a typical cop with nothing better to do they will make stuff up just to get a look in your rig.
Had one pull me over because he said my lights are too blue. What a crock so I said what about every new car with hid lights. He just sputtered light a wet match for a second and then let me go.

i know here in ontario, we are not allowed to have more than 55w and no more than 4 lights on at the same time, on any road.
and no forward facing blue or red lights. but i guess there is an acception to interpretation, as even my piaa h4 headlights are kinda blue.

So I've got all my wireing correct but I don't think my switch on my 89 is working. Is there a fuse that needs to be replaced? If so which one

im lucky cause in VA you can have as many as you want as bright as you want where ever you want em as long as they dont go 100ft past the front of your vehicle
WARNING- Assuming you have the basic KC lights, only hook up two lights per switch and relay other wise you risk blowing the relay and burning up all your wires and switches!!! Trust me, I learned that the hard way!!!
