so i found one on a 88' , didnt ask what they wanted for it yet. whats a fair price to pay ? its stock & missing 1 drum.

 

If it's already fully pulled and missing a drum, $100 I would think?

I see them go up quite a bit on CL for ~$100-150, but usually that's fully pulled already, which will up the value slightly.

$100-150 seems to be the going rate I think.

 

At any self service yard it shouldn't be more than $99.

At a full service yard it'll likely be way over priced.

 

well i called them today, they said $200 pulled , they will not let me pull it. dont want to anyway , but $200 is too high i believe, i may offer $150. if they pass it can sit there & rust.

 

200 is a fair deal for a Dana 44 for an xj. I see them selling for alot more in my area.

 

they are charging 200 probably with a core charge. at least that's how the yard i got mine from did it, but i bribed him with a coffee and got it for 100 bux with driveshaft and he even loaded it.
i took it out tho, easy with a small genny and grinder.
