Default Control arm bushings?

98 Cherokee 155000 miles

New Axle U Joints, Ball Joints, Tie rod set up, and Steering damper, and shocks.

I would like to replace the Control arm bushings, as they are most likely worn with almost 160k on them, and would like to have more of a solid firm ride, and would like to get everything in order before i take it in for an alignment.

I will NOT be doing this myself, as i have too much to do to deal with cursing and stress!

My question is, What control arm bushings do i need? I've searched, but i don't understand how many bushings each arm has, etc. So i just would like to know, how many of what bushings will i need? And a rough estimate of labor time, as it will be in my buddy's shop at $50 an hour

Thanks for your help guys

Control arm bushings are gonna cost about $40 per arm...while the arm new is about $90.

I have seen that the bushings can take some time to pound out the old and pound in the new...= 2 or 3 hours of labor at the shop, estimated. $100-$150 + the cost of parts, approx $80 for lowers and another $80 for uppers. $420 - $470 total

4 new control arms = about $400 and you can put them in yourself without too many headaches.

I am replacing my complete upper arms soon. These are the links to what I have bought, roughly $60 in parts for everything and I have the tools to do them myself.
New upper http://www.ebay.com/itm/370912752558?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT - $40
Rukse axle end http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Dana-30-HD-Axle-Upper-Control-Arm-Mount-Polyurethane-Bushing-Replacements-/251698731488?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a9a69d9e0&vxp=mtr, they are poly so longer life/stiffer material and reuse the metal housing so that's half the work right there. - $22.99

Yep. And it's not fun in the slightest.

I'd recommend a big balljoint service tool and the beefiest impact you can find.

If u can only replace one, is it better to replace upper or lower CA's?

You should replace the ones that are worn out.

If you're able to determine which set is the worse-off go for that. If you're after ease of task, imo lowers. Tho if you can, wait and do them both together.
If i wasn't doing my lift i could have easily got another couple of years out of mine and the mileage was roughly the same as yours, but my diff was out anyway so i figured wth
