Back to the lights. How did you route the wiring, and did you use some relays or is it straight wiring to the lights from the battery? Last question is did you use some kind of grommet where the wiring passes through the roof?

Sorry for getting off topic Blue, it was Bowtie's fault . I used 2 relays, one for both sets fo lights and an inline 30 amp fues from the battery. I did not use a grommet going though the roof. My cousin had some industrial type of sealant that dries hard, he said he would be water tight. I also wired the lights to my parking lights so they are not hot all the time. I have a 8 month old son, and before I know it he will be crawling all over the inside of the truck, so I didn't want the lights to be able to turn on whenever, so they will only work if the parking lights or headlights are on.

Good deal. Relays are the way to go. How did you fish the wires from the roof to the inside without dropping the headliner?
I'm asking b/c I have 4 Hellas to go on my rack but cant figure a weatherproof way to run the wiring. My relay center is under my hood above the brake booster.

All I had to do was pull the plastic molding on above the drivers side door away from the headliner. It was just enought to fish the wires out. My headliner is very tight, so I didn't want to drop the whole thing. I mounted the relays just above the brake booster on the fire wall. I'll take more pics this evening. As for the roof, you could drill a hole and put a grommet in then seal it up really good. That should keep it water proof.

how are you running your lights? are you using a relay and if so what size? I'm having trouble wiring mine so any feedback would be helpful. a diagram would be even better with step by step instrucions. Thanks.

Default Cheap Overhead lights

Always an awesome way to light up the trails. Cheap too, if ur XJ has the luggage rack anyway lol. I did it to mine right after I bought it, and those lights make a big difference both daily driving and runnin the trails.
