Default just got 35s! BUT something is wrong...

ok well I got a HELL of a deal on a set of new 35s with rims and started to put them on just to see how it looks( i realize i have to trim ALOT) but anyways i got the rear tires on without a problem but when I put the front ones on there is A LOT of play in the wheel fully torqued down. when I push on the top of the wheel while looking under the jeep i see that the rotor and the axle shaft is moving up and down. it doesnt look like the ball joints are moving though. I replaced the u joings a few months back as well. any input on this?

if it's not the ball joints it's the wheel bearing.

Jack it off the ground and try to tighten the axle shaft nut first.
if there is still play in the wheel bearings then they are trashed.
