Default Just Expect Electrical Problems - Help!

Okay so long story short, or short story long, about a month ago i went to start my truck and it had no power. I tried to start it again and again with nothing then one more time it started up. The battery is only 1 1/2 years old

No problems since the other night I went wheelin with my friend pretty hard, i hit a whoop too fast, caught some air, it was cool, drove to our spot, shut the trucks off for a bit and hung out. when we went to go start up to leave i had no power. We hooked our trucks up togetherand tried jumping my truck. i had full power to everything just not enough juice to start even after waiting 20 minutes. we checked terminals cleaned them this that and the other thing, messed around. He ended up having to tow me out. He was pulling me fast up the only rutted hill to get out in his little CJ, i was being sloshed around the truck all of a sudden i got full power and started up no problem.

So my solution i must have a bad connection somewhere. Although

Just now i went to start it up after my truck has been sitting for 2 days, I have power but just enough to get the interior light to come on not enough to start or even lock the power door locks.

Could I have a broken battery? Is that even possible? Just a bad connection? why do you think the battery was dead
and after the whole bad connection thing and now dead battery maybe its both. I havnt messed with it yet.

thanks
-Mike

Id check the battery cables. make sure they have clean connections on both ends and havent been worn through or anything like that.

a dead cell in the battery will give you enough jiuce for everything in the jeep to work, but wont start the jeep. It will run fine after its been jumped. Check for a bad ground on the block. Maybe that is causing a no crank condition

Yeah im gonna run all new battery cables to the starter and everything, everything is caked in mud i gotta clean it up bad.

Although last night i went to start it i had slight power to everything and the starter was clicking but didnt have enough to start it. But i jumped it with my other truck and after a minute of jumping it started, i deffenetly need to do new cables first then if the battery is shot ill just get one of those nice red tops.

Thanks
-Mike

Same thing happened to me. All I did was get new terminals and wires for battery starts up everytime now.
