Default Junkyard Parts Question?

I have a wrecked Cherokee that needs new fan, electric fan and radiator.
What are you thoughts on using radiator from junkyard. If i do get one from JY what steps should i do to test to make sure it's a good one?

My thoughts are the same as for most JY parts. It's a crap shoot. They work or they don't. Personally I would NOT get a JY radiator, except as a temporary solution. About all you can do is visually inspect a rad at the JY. Suppose you could bring a couple gallons of water, someting to plug the in/outlets and run a pressure test.

I went to the JY for my '92 and decided that a new one was a better deal. They wanted $75 for them and all of them were the same age as the Jeep. lol. I just get a new one at advance auto with an online code. Been in the Jeep for 3 years now. No problems.

I suggest a new one. A used one will probably last a few weeks at most. Unless you luck out and find a "just replaced" rad at the JY.

I'd say go for the fans from the JY... As for the radiator, I'd buy that new. You're not going to be able to tell what's going on internally with a JY radiator. They're roughly $100 new (less if you really shop around) and will give you good reassurance that it isn't nice and clogged up internally.
