junkyard finds

happy humpday all...went to the local junkyard today to pick up some stuff to include a radio antenna because the XJ didn't come with one when i bought it, but to make a long story short i screwed on the new antenna but im still not receiving any radio stations...could someone help me figure this out please

Did you connect the wire inside of the fender panel.

Check the wire lead from the antenna to the back of the radio to ensure there are no breaks also as NorCal said make sure the lead is plugged into the back of the radio
