Default Jump gone bad

So I let my friend us my 96 xj. The battery went dead and he tried to jump it. He crossed the wires and now there is no power what so ever in the jeep!!! I have no idea what to check or do any help would be great.

Probably need a new battery. Pull it and have it tested at any auto store... I'm sure it's fried. Possibly fuses, relays, etc...

hope its the battery. NOT the PCM computer.
Is it difficult to see + or - on the battery? Wow.

So I had a couple minutes late-night and took a test light to the go fuses in the fuse box under the hood and the big fuses have power on both sides but that's as far as I got

definetly a blown fuse somewhere. keep looking. Although the possibility of having fried the PCM is possible... that would not be the cause of not having power elsewhere.

The fuseable link on the front of the power distribution center needs to be checked. A backwards jump start can take that out, which hopefully it did, because that helps to protect the upstream components (relays, fuses, computer).

Well did you check all the fuses like hey told ya? Or just the "big ones".

What about the fuseable link?

From the title, I thought you had jumped your Jeep and you broke all of the suspension components or something haha
