I rotated my tires last week, rear straight to the front, fronts switched sides to the rear. Noticed the other day the steering wheels is jerky at low speed on medium turns. Checked all the linkage and it's tight as are the lugs. Any ideas??

 

A bad tire or axle ujoint.

 

Rotate the tires back and see if its still there or is it gone.If its gone its a wheel/tire if its still there then its a axle u joint.

 

Rear tires tend to "square up"and fronts cup. So now when you turn, the square edge bites in. Usually goes away after the edges are knocked off.

Same thing happened to me, but the jerkiness disappeared after a week or so

 

Thats what I was thinking. I havent rotated them in a while either so well worn in for where they were. If its not better by next week Ill play around with it. I dont have time this weekend anyway. Leaving to go hunting right after work, Im not driving though so it can wait.

 

What tires are you running?

 

I have the Goodyear duratracs. Been runnin em for over a year.
