Recently I changed the battery in my '96 Jeep 4x4 Cherokee 5 speed manual trans.
After installing new battery...no dice. Car will not turn over at all. Won't even try to start.

Am completely stumped....I am reading something here on sensors etc.. that could be the issue....

Anyone with any input please help!!!

 

you've assumably checked your terminals for wear corrosion loosenes etc?? was it running before the battery swap? have you checked all your grounds?

 

do you have an alarm?

 

Yes have checked terminals and cables etc...

Jeep was perfect before....very strange!

It will crank over but NO dice Very frustrating.

 

nope...no alarm.

I have read about Cam Senseor or Crank sensors...etc...
Is this a possibility

 

it could be a few things..check for spark..check for fuel..make sure your fuel pumps turning on

 

i bet you blew a fuse installing the battery. Check em all!
